✨ 2025 — What a Year! ✨

2025 was one for the books. I had the absolute honour of marrying 18 incredible couples, with March and November keeping me very busy (and very grateful).

This year also brought some huge personal milestones — we moved into our forever home just last week, which still feels a little surreal. I also got to stand back and soak in the magic as one of my younger sisters said “I do” — a moment I’ll treasure forever.

For the first time in a long while, all of my weddings were right here in Greater Adelaide — no regional road trips this year… but don’t worry, Mad March is coming 😉🚗

On the home front, 2025 marked a bittersweet milestone as it was my last year with Mr 3 at home, with kindy starting next month. How did that happen so fast?

All in all, 2025 was amazing, full of love, growth, and special moments — and I couldn’t be more excited for 2026 and beyond. 🥂💍

💛 Tayla + Locky = Since 01.09.15 💛

From nursery school classmates ➡️ to standing on the classroom steps where Tayla popped the question (yes, SHE asked HIM out 🙌), these two have been inseparable ever since.

Fast forward through years of studying hard, working in the yard, and endless chatter — now they’re planning a future filled with:
🏡 A house with a big yard for Tina the dog
🛠 A shed for Locky
📚 A craft room/library for Tayla (yes, with a book ladder, practical or not 😂)
✈️ A long trip through the UK + Europe (Locky can’t wait to drive the autobahn, Tayla is already holding on for dear life!)

Their engagement wasn’t a surprise, but Tayla almost cried anyway when it happened right in their living room with Tina confusedly wagging her tail and Turtle the cat hunting birds like nothing was happening. 🐶🐱💍

Wow… what a journey! 🥂 This month marks 10 incredible years since I became a marriage celebrant, and what a privilege it has been. The wedding where the dress almost went up in flames 🔥

This one goes down as one of my all-time favourites, even though it could’ve ended differently. It was 2016, Shaun's 30th birthday AND surprise wedding (yes, surprise!). As guests entered the pub, a sign read "Surprise, we’re getting married!" 💍

One of the friends had set up a beautiful display of tea light candles up front, and it looked incredible—until we started the ceremony, and suddenly, there was a smoky smell in the air. Turns out, Paige’s dress was smoking! 😱 We quickly moved her a few steps away from the candles, and aside from the front row, no one even noticed. The calm in the chaos was incredible, and we all kept things cool.

It was a wedding that was 100% their way—no drama, no conflict, just a simple desire to say "I do" in front of their nearest and dearest. And the cake? Oh, it was a truck, just another example of how unforgettable it can be to do things your way. 💖🚛

March GRACE & TONY 💍
It all started on a warm summer night down by the bay… 🌅

Grace and Tony had crossed paths a few times on nights out, but it was their online chats that really lit the spark. From the jump, Tony was loud, cheeky, and full of energy. Grace? Just as stubborn—but with a heart that matched his.

Their first proper date? Magic. A laidback dinner by the water, a beach stroll with ice cream in hand, and chats that flowed like they'd known each other forever. By the end of the night, Grace just knew.

From there, it was full steam ahead. Barely a day apart. Grace all but moved in before they made it official. Life was full of adventures—weekends away, road trips with The Beatles cranked up, and binge sessions of The Rookie on lazy afternoons.

Then came Archer 💙 Their little man changed everything. Tony took one look at him and knew: they weren’t just a couple anymore. They were a team. A family.

But Tony still had one surprise up his sleeve.
Christmas morning. Archer tearing into presents. Tony hands Grace a giant box. Inside? Another box. And another. Each one smaller, each one filled with rose petals. At the very end—Tony on one knee.
"Gracie, will ya marry me?"
"Bloody oath I will!" she laughed through tears.

From that moment on, their love story got a whole new chapter.

Tony, with his loud laugh and very generous snooze habits… Grace, with her calm strength and wicked sense of humour. Together, they’re unstoppable.

✨ Bourtney: A Modern Love Story ✨

What started as a cheeky Tinder match quickly turned into something real – full of laughs, deep chats, and a spark that neither Ben nor Courtney could ignore.

Courtney was just in Adelaide for a dress fitting when their dark humour and mutual outlook on life clicked instantly. Ben was instantly drawn in – not just by her stunning looks but by her wit and authenticity. Courtney thought he was charming, tall, and handsome… even if a little shy.

Their first real-life meet? Teppanyaki flames down the bay, cocktails at the Sunset Bar, and conversations that lasted until closing time. The connection was undeniable – so much so that by the very next night, Ben accidentally blurted out “I love you.” 😳 It caught them both off guard, but for Courtney, it showed how genuine he truly was.

That whirlwind weekend ended with a full family intro (surprise!) and yet, it all just felt right.

Ben loves Courtney’s hard-working nature, her excitement for the little things, and how she’s made him a better man. Courtney loves Ben’s kindness, generosity, and unwavering affection.

Things moved fast – because how could they not? Within 3 months, Courtney packed up her life in the country and moved to Adelaide to be with Ben (and housemate Ty!). From shared spaces to their own cozy home, every step was an adventure.

When it came time to pop the question, Courtney expected a proposal in New Zealand… but Ben had other ideas. 💍

New Year’s drinks at Mick O’Shea’s, dodging footy mates, and a quiet moment on the sunbeds – he simply pulled out the ring and showed her. Courtney blinked and asked, “What now?” Ben offered to do it another time, but she smiled and said, “Now’s fine… but you have to ask properly.”

He did. She said yes. And just like that, they ended the year and started the next one engaged. 💫

Their love is built on humour, affection, and everyday rituals – from shared memes and squeezing into one recliner, to bathroom chats during the bedtime routine.

They’ve created a life filled with laughter, love, and a whole lot of heart.
